The FiberUp fiber database
By Anthony Calise, maker of FiberUp. Updated October 17, 2026.
The food database behind the FiberUp app, published for anyone to use: 198 common foods with total fiber per typical serving and per 100 g, the soluble and insoluble split, percent of the daily value, and a low FODMAP flag. Values come from USDA FoodData Central and standard references, matched to servings people actually eat.
Use it in apps, research, classes, spreadsheets, or articles. The license is CC BY 4.0: you can copy, change, and use it commercially, as long as you credit FiberUp with a link to this page.

Notes and limits
- Fiber varies with variety, ripeness, and cooking. Values are rounded to one decimal.
- Soluble and insoluble splits are approximate and come from USDA SR Legacy analyses where they exist.
- The FODMAP flag reflects the listed serving, not the food in general.
- General nutrition information, not medical advice.
